Well, since I read tarot more intuitively, even those oracles that have "rules" or guidelines, I tend to read a bit the same way. The guidelines help when I am a bit stumped at thinking of options, but I can see where an oracle that one makes oneself would be used, and more easily used, intuitively. Of course, I'm guessing even if one makes up their own oracles, they have an idea of some sort of guide in their own head, even if there aren't rules. I don't know though, as I've never made my own oracle. At this point, I'm quite happy with the pre-made ones
