just came to light PYRAMIDS!!!represents the thee higher bodies of the human constitution......MANAS, BUDDHI, ATMAN.

can also represent the three lower PHYSICAL ,ETHERIC ,ASTRAL. though in the RWS these are GOLD so they must be the higher............hence the PAGE ,KNIGHT,AND QUEEN,the king is probably past it??

the EGO is in the middle making up the 7 bodies............

putting mind body and soul into it ,committed,or working on a broader outlook to the operations of ...M.B.S............CAN'T BE CONTROL OF because of the knights activities?????????????

Perhaps because pyramids can be associated with their apex representing the highest point or as some of you have pointed out spiritual aspirations and pyramids were built by those of he ancient world with a wisdom and knowledge — then they may well be suggesting in the cards that they appear in that whatever the skill that is being acquired here comes from a deeper wisdom or a higher type of knowledge.

From the Book Pictures of the Heart
Some believe that in ancient times initiation rites were performed in the pyramids; hence they can also symbolise initiation into the "higher mysteries; a desire for spiritual aspirations; hidden secrets; or introduction to an esoteric system of learning.

The King of Wands who represents for us her self mastery in regarding sorting out ideas and putting them into action, beng able to lead others down the appropriate path to reach goals - perhaps this ability has come from his experiences to enable him to have a higher wisdom of what is needed.

However in the Page of Wands he is only just beginning on that pathway to becoming a King and he is standing in the desert so perhaps for him the pyramids only show what he can aim for and the challenges he needs to face in terms of ideas and how to put them into action - so for him they may well represent his aspirations to greater things.

HB... you may like this take........the pyramids were used for initiations,re- birthing, the internal designs looks like the passages were designed to resemble the womb, with a small passage from the kings chamber up and out.....the initiate would enter, make their way through the passages(FEARS AND LITTLE DEATHS)to the kings chamber, wait until the light shines down through the upwards vent (possibly facing VENUS),when the initiate sees this light they then descend to the outside rebourne.....not a bad story huh!
