Thanks Marina! Very interesting! I brought this over to Leo 24, since it fits so nicely here.

"""I just want to add one little thing for those who look at Sabian Symbols Madonnas Sun is - Leo 24 Sabian Symbol: A yogi with transcendent powers yet untidy & unkempt.... taken from Lynda Hills www sabiansymbols site this symbol is -
Health issues. Mind over body. Body over mind. Gymnasiums and fitness. Yoga and yogis. Extreme states of meditation. The Caution: Not paying enough attention to the body and physical needs OR being bound up in physical fitness and not enjoying the more spiritual or mental aspects of one's being.
INTERESTINGLY enough the sabian symbol BEFORE her sun - Leo 23 is A BAREBACK RIDER IN A CIRCUS DISPLAYS HER DANGEROUS SKILL The Caution: Through 'showing off' losing control and falling off. Looking for applause. Fooling with nature's energies. Arousing or controlling passions.
My thoughts on this symbol……it’s as if this man is ‘waiting’ for something sensational or transformational to help him……well, unless he participates in life, it’s not going to happen. Perhaps this person is looking for the easy way out or wants to be released of the burden of choice. “If only someone would tell me what I should be doing then I could get on with my life and do it”.
Purple_scorp, an interesting image. The feeling I’m receiving…….is passive, one of surrender and even martyrdom, then on the other hand a spiritual connection, a form of healing. I’m not sure what this man is sitting on….but there’s definitely a need for balance or he’ll literally fall off! I’d love to hear your explanation on this one.
This symbol tells me it may be time to find a better way to harmonize our conscious will with our need to be taken care of by a greater force than ourselves. Meditation does not wrap up our issues in a neat little box, that we can all of sudden forget about and toss in the garbage. It doesn’t work like that.
What motivates you to get up in the morning? Something has to motivate us…get us going...but it doesn’t stop there….the next task is to become more conscious of ourselves and of the experiences we’re having. Each of us is born with a Will, a will to do and be. The Sun is potent and powerful….it’s about individuality, confidence, with the urge to meet all life’s challenges with courage.....even what we class at mistakes.....which is the sun also needs the wisdom of our Soul.
Some religions have defined the Holy Trinity as the mystery of one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But the Trinity is not a mystery, but we tend to make it so. We’ve complicated things by breaking it down in three different working parts when they all should be balanced and working harmoniously together.
There’s so much we can see in this one symbol! It could be telling us that we need to take time to validate our feelings and perceptions……maybe we’ve been feeling irritated, impatient and overwhelmed by our efforts. Slow down, listen to some relaxing music, meditate….. answers can come in surprising and unexpected ways. It’s what you do with them that counts!
On a personal note this has been happening to me. I've been irritated, impatient and overwhelmed in trying to decide an art design for an oracle card. My poor horses weren't running straight....they were running in utter chaos. I needed to find a sense of balance. And I did, by separating myself from the problem. I went for a drive, enjoyed a few hours with a close friend, did somemore research, relaxed and came back to it again. I saw the whole thing in a different perspective.....it was like my thoughts and ideals were in communion with my body and spirit. I also realized I needed to go through this emotional experience to learn, assimilate and bring it all together to make something concrete. I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track now. (I hope)
Transformation can only occur by our own diligent efforts. Everything is possible, but only if we exert ‘ourselves’.
