actually, i was thinking i i could ask your opinion about it. so far, i find that i'm leaning towards the mind-body-spirit inspired suits, but the ages types (crone, maiden, and child) would also suffice. Perhaps, the three forms of the the supreme hindu god vishnu, brahma, and shiva. or perhaps, the three fates (one to weave, one to measure, and one to cut [in this case; the suits would be the loom, shears, and (measuring) rod]). i'm still thingking about it...

I really like the 3 fates idea! The maiden, mother and crone idea sounds awesome too because you could tie it in with moon phases ... feature a little waxing, full or waning moon on each card in the suit or something.

vishnu (i'm not familiar w/the hindu, so i'm listing them in your order)
measuring rod
second suit:
body
maiden
brahma
loom
third suit:
spirit
child
shiva
shears
i have no idea as to what to call your suits, but IMO this works so far...

thanks for your opinion. and, the three fates idea got me thinking. i might just go with it, and each suit will have four "people" cards: child, maiden, crone, avatar (for the hindu gods). the last one is probably a long shot though. as for the other cards in the suite, i think i'll number them up to thirteen 9aside from the people cards).

If you're interested in doing the mother, maiden, crone people cards, but you want four people cards in each suit, you might be interested in a thread that's in spirituality at the moment.

It discusses the 4th face of the goddess, corresponding to the dark of the moon. So those could be your four people cards, if you liked: Maiden, Mother, Crone and Hag. Just an idea!
