uk printers/scotland/glasgow pref, etc, etc!

Hi everyone
We are now researching uk printers for our deck. Can any of you give us your experience of professional as opposed to personal printing methods? I am especially concerned that doing your own print run has problems when it comes to varnishing & card quality. The deck is coming along nicely still being worked out in line at the moment but will be in rich colour eventually, quite dark & mysterious in nature.
We will post some images when we work out how to do it!

I can't offer any specific names of printing firms to you but Edinburgh used to be one of the major printing centres of Europe and has been for around 500 years or so. It might be worth enquiring with some of the major, long-standing print houses in Edinburgh about your specific requirements.

The subject of home versus professional printing has been discussed many times here, so although I'm sure people will be happy to offer advice, it might be quickest for you (and more comprehensive) if you also look through some older threads.
