What's your favourite crystal/gem/precious stone!!

So many ... and various reasons, effect, appearence, aura.
I love celestite, it gives me an undescribible energy, but I'd have to choose malachite, ever since I saw that whole slab tabletop of it as a kid in the Sydney museum, I have been in love with it. especially large pieces. I love the internal patterns and the outward shape it forms.

but I have so many favourites - my NEW favourite is OCEAN JASPER - well I was soooo surprised by its - OCEAN-NESS, it was amazingly wonderful, on one level it was the sound of waves - so relaxing, on another level it was an opening - freedom of consciousness...

Red Emma, it was a complete surprise, I was quite skeptical actually and put the piece 'away' when it started talking to me in a near sleep state, I really felt like I had been on an sea side holiday after sleeping with it under my pillow!

New to crystals but bumping this as I think I have found the crystal I love the most and see I'm in good company;

Obsidian (totally black, not snowflake)
Hematite
Citrine

Just can't seem to relate to amethyst...

I love moonstone, those are probably my absolute favorites. But I love agate too, and I think citrine is really pretty. I also like orange calcite because it has a lovely silky feel!

I've kinda lost faith in agates. Everytime I see them I'm convinced they're dyed! What are the natural colours of agate? Not blue, in guess. I bought a beautiful bright purple agate before I'd even heard of the concept of dying rocks! Now it is the lonely, shunned little stone in the marble bowl!

Oh good heavens, don't give up on agates,,,they are as varied and colorful and beautiful as jaspers,,,so MANY different kinds. Among my favorites are Prairie, bubble gum, Mexican Lace, Lake Superior, moss agate, turitella agate...all beautiful.
