That's a neat way to interpret it. For me, personally, I view the wheel of fortune as an "up in the air" card. Meaning, things (and feelings) could go either way. For me there's an element of indecisiveness or instability to this card, like the wheel is spinning and hasn't yet landed on a solid outcome.
Yeah, that is the most chosen interp and the most likely one. With feelings though what does it mean? If there's indecisiveness it's neither a yes or no to feelings or no feelings it's like a weird subtle world that may or may not happen - does it mean there is the potential of feelings there but it may simply pass by and not 'catch on'? I think perhaps that could be it.
