The Emperor - What does he do for a living?

willowfox

Being the boss of your own brush and mop.

A certain someone ( a male ) quite close to my heart has come up as the Emperor quite a few times. He is a criminal. And not a small one.

Well, since he's the EmperOR, I guess he must emper? Whatever that is.

But seriously, he rules his domain. He makes all the decisions for his subjects and takes responsibility for their well-being---as he deems their well-being to be. They may not necessarily feel or actually be very well-off, but according to him, they're getting what they should get in his estimation.

I would think that being Emperor might be more a question of attitude than position, even if all he dictates to is his own family.

Thank you all :) too bad this was not helpful for this particular situation. My cousin is only 19 and I doubt he is the ceo of a company at this new job although he is very smart and quick on his feet. He is too young to have that sort of position i think. Although you never know. I am very confused why i got the emperor for this. For an older man i can see that it makes sense. He can be anything really. I'll find out what job he got and see if it matches with anything the emperor has to say. thanks again!

Emperor as job: He got a job, at the drive up window at Burger King... so issues orders to the servers.

I agree with Griz in a lot of ways...

I often ask myself in life, "What would the Emperor do in this situation (that I find myself in)?" This is so I don't get myself spinning my wheels doing something I should delegate. :)

The Emperor would be doing the following. (In my world, this Emperor can be male or female as you will see from my list.:))
+Planning.
+Delegating.
+Overseeing
+Helping their subjects/team if they loved the subjects OR manipulating them if he was greedy & selfish
+Brainstorming how to create an income stream where time was NOT exchanged for money.
-Examples:
...Being paid every time a product sold (a commission like a sales person)
...Being paid a percentage of the subject's income.
------This could be a tax.
------or a commission when someone made $ that they taught (like a sales manager or a store owner)
------ a writer selling his book or software or iPad apps, etc)

They would NOT be:
-Doing manual labor that could be delegated others to do.

So for your young nephew:
*Salesperson?
*Writing software apps for the iPad, etc?
*what other ideas can we come up with along these lines?

ETA: just had another idea!
Teaching himself new skills. Like business skills. Or maybe marketing to help himself by helping others.
Sooooo, maybe going back to school to further his education & Emperor type skills!?!

I see the emperor more in law enforcement or the armed services, something that has an order of rank and law. Something with structure, no freelacing unless they own it.

Like I said, someone very close to my heart ( he is a male ) is a high ranking criminal, and he usually comes up as the Emperor in my cards.

I've encountered the Emperor as, the "boss"/"authority" of his family, military leaders, politicians, High Ranking business men and/or owners/CEO's, and currently as a surgeon. A judge, royal or very established respected man. I agree with the structure and a profession that has a 'ranking system" with him as the top.

I don't see, nor understand, The Emperor as a 'criminal" as this guy is well respected in and legitimate . He is usually a very well respected member of society and works hard to earn the respect and character that he gets.

A Criminal, successful or not, would be a Seven of Swords, The trickster, 5 of Swords, or something to the effect to show low character and "ripping off" people. That is a criminal to me.

Hope that helps OP!
