HearthCricket

I didn't know there was something written on the inside of the top flap. I've been opening it from the bottom to save the seal on it

I did that with my second copy to save the seal. lol I never even thought about it the first time around. I just wanted to get to that deck and start drooling! :D

Whenever I get a deck with a seal (usually playing cards) I always peel the bottom half of the seal up from the main part of the box (keeping it attached to the tuck) and reaffix it to the tuck so that the entire seal remains in one piece on the tuck.

Does anyone know just how "limited" this set is? Their Pagan playing cards all state the limited quantity, but not so for the Pagan Otherworlds.

Finally received my package yesterday. The little bag and a hand written thank you note was included. I purchased it from their website. I am HAPPY!!

I'm going to acquire this as a birthday gift for the woman I'm dating. She is enthralled with my collection and loved the images of the Pagan Otherworld.
It will be her first deck ... and you never forget your first ;-)

OK I am back with my deck. I was a backer. The lowest level - deck only. And that was what I got - deck only (well, in the tuck box.) As that was what I backed for, I have no quarrel with this.

After all, I think non-backers had to pay more.

I am sorry you got the deck-only gregory :*; I wasn't a backer and I just received mine and it came with all the extras mentioned in this thread, including the lavender sprig, the bag with their Uusi logo, and an extra King of Swords postcard size card with a Thank you note on the back.

I am going to order my copy in November, and I must say I am excited to get all the extras.
I mean, the deck will cost me 75 dollars, plus the customs charges, all together around 100 dollars I guess. The reason why I purchase indie decks instead of mass produced ones is exactly this - you get some extra treatment, personal touch. I don't mean "stuff" by this, I don't think a lavender sprig is very costly. But it's the IDEA behind it.

I remember when I ordered Sakki Sakki and finally received it - oh my god, it had been packaged so nicely I actually kept the envelope! It's still in my cupboard. All the colours and stamps she had put on it just made me smile.

So I am happy if they indeed include the extras! It is not costly on the producer's side, but makes an immense difference for the receiver. Well done, uusi!

There may have been a thank you note actually - I would have stashed that separately. I am happy with it and I am betting you paid more than a backer did; that's partly what I'm getting at !

(Just looked back - yes; I paid $44 for mine. so....)
