My initial impressions of the Haindl are back and forth, up and down. The majors are stunning, no doubt. The court cards are just as fantastic. But then there's all those blah pip cards. I thought it wouldn't bother me since I played with Marseilles decks a got bit for half of last year, but I don't know...I think part of what I was looking forward to with returning to DoTW is playing with fully illustrated cards, but I didn't realize that when I chose the deck.
I have gotten some good daily draws with it for the last few days, but I'm just not loving it. I think having keywords on the cards hinders me as well. I see "conflict" for example, and I just can't see the card any other way.
Oh well. At least I'm playing with the cards again. I'll finish out the week with it just in case it suddenly turns around for me!
