Decks with the most visually pleasing men?

Scarlet Woodland

Not to be terribly shallow or anything ;) but I can't help but notice that the tarot market is (oh the shock) somewhat skewed towards the beautiful, bare breasted end of the spectrum.

Now don't get me wrong; I'm not averse to a fine pair on display... but what about the large chunk of us -male and female- who prefer our eye candy with testosterone and stubble?

With that in mind I thought we might, charitably, scan our minds for the decks with the dishiest men. It's really a public service you know... all in the name of equality :D

I'll kick things off with an honorable mention for the Tarot of the Hidden Realm. Whether they're up your street or not, the men are just as pretty as the women.

Now this is a thread I like. And I admit, I'm terribly shallow!

The Gay Tarot has some good looking men, not only the buff gym rats but all kinds, and they're all gorgeous. The Morgan-Greer has some hotties, although they have a real 70s porn star look, mullets and moustaches and all.

I remember the Robin Wood has nearly impossibly good-looking people all around. The 7P gardener stepped right out of a catalogue. I always think he's not an actual gardener but a hunky model in a fake plastic garden because he's immaculate without a spot of dirt on his gloves, not a streak of mud on his chiseled jawline.

The man and his family in 10C belong on some postcard of the Alps.

The 6P noble's a cutey but his clothes are just a bit too fabulous...

In sum, I found Robin Wood's major drawback that the people are so perfect looking as to be fake and unbelievable. I can't use the deck for this reason; it's a fantasy world of no one but magazine supermodels where every single person and object is flawlessly beautiful. Well, save the portly 9C gentleman and the Hierophant.

Oh and as for the Lovers, I pity her for having to...accommodate... that. Oww.

The Tarot of Vampyres has pretty men.

I know it's not tarot, but the I Ching Dead Moon Oracle by Luis Royo has numerous handsome men.

I'm partial to quite a few of the Shadowscapes men. And Robin Wood's 7/Swords is one of my faves. But nothing quite beats Hidden Realm's Shadowdance horned god. *drools*

Overall though, I've really not found too many compelling men in decks so far. Which is rather disappointing...guess I'd better watch this thread for updates!

Those Royo decks look nice! I’d never seen that Magician before. *pockets* I too have been looking for decks with good looking men, for a patchwork erotic deck I unintentionally started.

A lot of the goth decks have cool art styles that depict beautiful men. (Ludy Lescot Knight of Cups, pleased to meet you. Favole King of Butterflies, you can come with me. And I second Vampyres; anything with Tom Cruise.) I wish some of those artists would illustrate a more general deck.

The gaps of my patch deck will probably be filled with Mucha and Sexual Magic because those are stacked with lovelies. I love the Mucha Hanged Man and Knight of Swords. And in both decks, the men and women are equally attractive.

gosh, none. I have looked hard -I really have - but I sometimes think I live in a different universe. There's the odd card here and there, but it's usually out of desperation really to try and hide from all the LoS boobs. I think there's one card in the Gods & Titans Oracle but that wouldn't belong here. I go out into the street and see LOADS - enter the mystical portals of tarot and it's all pretty barren.

There's something about tarot design that associates hunks with long hair on men <retch>. Some sort of Van Halen hangover. And when this subject comes up, I'm always surprised at all the members drooling over men with long hair...

Alright I'm going to say it, I've always been a bit in love with several of the men in the Rider Waite deck.

Specifically, the King and Knight of Pentacles, then had a brief flirtation with the Page of Cups, and for the last few years (yes, YEARS!!) have loved the Charioteer!

I can also confess to quite fancying some of the blokes in the Archeon tarot,(but don't really feel that counts as they are, after all, photographs of dishy men) and the Fool in the Aquarian tarot.

Have a look at the King of Pentacles from Dugan's Witches tarot - beautifully groomed & powerful looking *drool*
