I have just received an email from pryo skin threatening to sue me for defamation if I don't remove two of my posts. Has anyone else received an email like this? I'm not sure what to do.

Ok, in the meantime a lot has been commented on this post already and I think they are right, they can't really do much. Especially since both Julie and Karen are sure they have bootlegged their decks. I see the posts from Julie on FB all the time.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know... Yes, I also got a e-mail, back in 2010 when I bought the deck and voiced my concerns in the original thread about the Dore Bible Tarot. I ended up removing most of the post and altering it. Because even though I had my suspicions, I had no proof of any kind. This is also why I kept silent so far in this thread.

Stormdancer, I think you did the right thing by contacting the mods and asking their advice.

You know - I rather think that when threatening letters/emails start up from a "publisher", that tells you they have something to hide.

Where's photokat, who seems to have dealt with them on other decks, according to her post:

I've ordered from those people before in the past ... they might ask to pay via Western Union or similar because Ukraine is on the poop list for online money transactions.

They're super reliable people though, but I've only done Moneygram or WU a while back. Visa never worked for me with them.

Must be rough to running a biz out of the Ukraine !

I'll ask them what the deal is and report back.

ETA: I just saw the post right after mine, so I'm sure it will work out fine. They're cool peeps, I can vouch

Only the mail out of the Ukraine can be a bit slow but for 30 Euros I wouldn't mind waiting for something to arrive in 2 or 3 weeks.

So have they put out anything legit ?
