The meaning of the signs on The High Priestess

re-pete-a

responding to Herm'

Our reference to the 10th para starts with:"Mystically speaking, the Shekina is the spiritual bride of the just man,and when he reads the law, she gives the divine meaning"," By actions and works will these things be revealed to you"......Isis the goddess of the borrowed light ,to us indicates that astrology was far more advanced in those times than we think.........Married to the sun,no longer of this world,to us indicates the sun, set and gone, NIGHT........."Lamp of western mysticism",could that be the reason the HERMIT holds a lamp now instead of the original hour glass, educating the westerners????THE VEIL behind ISIS is the gate to eden,as glimpsed through the veil??????????10 the final Sephiroth, could that refer to the 10's in the Minors, refer to the post x re-pete-a, 10 of swords.......What your saying (our take)is Isis the queen of the etheric realm,as this is where the forces change inert to cellular activity,it could also be saying that Isis has 10 veils to pass through..............we feel your input is far from tedious, and find it very ,very informative,Makes one really fly off on tangents(intuitions) right or wrong........Time delays to responses are due to world time differences(Thats our excuse an we're sticking to it)

Pomegranates

Not sure if I'm repeating what's been said, but the pomegranates in the background are arranged in the form of a partially obscured and slightly askew Tree of Life (as Robert Place notes in his book); I also noticed, as Mary says, that the Priestess's face appears in the position of Da'ath, the Hidden Sephirah, while Tiphareth would be at her solar plexus or even her heart; and Solomon's temple was of course decorated with pomegranates (2 Chronicles 3.16, NRSV). Also, this card includes symbols of the three Abrahamic faiths: the Torah, the Crescent and the Cross. Indeed, you could write a book about this one card.
