I got through with the Knight of Swords and thought that maybe she is on a quest, too. The deck seems to be about people on quests, and the typical characters, problems, and situations anybody on a quest may run into along the way.
Yes, that flamingo on the Ace of Chalices is rather creepy. (Never thought that a flamingo could be creepy!) The unicorn in the Seven of Pentacles is the second scariest unicorn I have ever seen. (The scariest unicorn ever is on the Moon card in the Handl. ) This deck takes normal nice friendly animals (even in normal fantasy stories) and completely inverts them to make some really scary critters!
