Huge thanks to Glitternova, Sweetscarlet and Tippyjane. I had a feeling this deck was something special.

Thanks for the heads-up on the heirophant too; now I can spend some time with the image over the next week before ordering. Weirdly, as a definite non breeder, I'm fine with the image as a whole; I just need to reconcile myself with the creepy spider fingers!

The Japaridze is beautiful but will definitely save that for a later date now, when I've got to know my latest batch of decks... and of course, the Mary El

Thoughts on the Ludy Lescot tarot? I'm looking for a readable deck with slightly macabre imagery, and RWS symbolism.

I ordered it recently because it was a great price and I heard really GOOD things about it. Plus, I like the artist. He's the same one that did Initiatory Tarot of the Golden Dawn, which I plan to get at some point. I'll let you know by weekend what I think about Ludy Lescot.

From the scans I've seen, I'm not Sure about the slightly part of macrable in this deck. It's pretty hairy, in my opinion.

Ludy Lescott?

It isn't RWS, is it? Macabre, yes (but nowhere near enough - is cleavage macabre? ) but not really RWS from what I remember before I got rid. I think his Initiatory Dawn deck is far better. Again, more really macabre cleavage...
