Hello danubhe.

Very nice work. Hard to tell what your paintings will look like, just from pencil sketches, but it sounds like a very ambitious project that should keep you busy for some time!

Are you not using wood panels? What is "cradled clayboard"?
How come oils for large, and egg tempera for small?

Because I want to use egg tempera as it is so period, don't you know - so is oil, but the cards will not only be easier in general to do with tempera, also I have a heck of a lot more oil paint than I will - even after spending a great deal of money on them - the temperas. So they are covering a lot of area, the oils are, you see. :D
