Question re Tarot & Oracles

Well - see (I do mean this) when I was arguing about pictures and cards and things like that, someone here said it should work reading magazine pictures.

Trust me, it doesn't - I get nothing - and I get the same result with oracles No idea why, but....

I find that I need a system to work with and tarot gives me that where oracles don't. To me an oracle is just a set of pictures but with tarot I have archetypes, numbers, elements and symbolism to work with. Tarot gives me something to actually read.

I don't feel I NEED a system - but I suspect the system has got me by the throat in my subconscious; that's the only thing I can think of as I don't even use generic meanings. It is all very strange....
