how many spread cloths have you got?

You may be right.

I had a black silk spreadcloth I hemmed myself and recently traded. What I want is a suede-textured cloth in a pretty color, maybe dark blue, that can be laundered.

'Seamster' is an actual word. No reason not to use it. :)
